With this announcement and the release of new features and enhancements, Adobe XD is the only cross-platform experience design platform to combine both design and prototyping with industrial-grade performance. The XD Starter Plan includes the desktop version of XD on both Mac and Windows, mobile apps for iOS and Android, and services to empower users to design, prototype and share user experiences with colleagues.
Today we’re announcing the Adobe XD Starter Plan, a free offering of the all-in-one UX/UI design platform. Some incredible news out this morning: Adobe has announced they’re making their popular new experience design tool – Adobe XD, a major part of the Creative Cloud – completely free(!) for anyone who wants to download and use it, forever: Or alternatively, you could roll back to version 49 of XD. U PDATE (April 2022) – If you can no longer run the free Starter version of XD and can only access the 7-day trial, then see this post from Adobe… A recent update of XD (version 50+) has a known issue, but you can work around it by launching XD from the Windows Start menu or macOS Dock / Launchpad, instead of using the Creative Cloud Desktop app… Then choose “Quit XD” – but the Starter version will continue to run and work.
